Pflugerville Brings Renewable Energy Park

On December 30th Pflugerville Community Development Corp has unveiled part one of its renewable energy park. This electrical car charging station looks straight out of Star Trek, well maybe not Star Trek, but futuristic.
Located at the intersection of the 130 toll way and Pecan Street, this solar park sits on 167 acres of PCDC land. Initially there is the solar sail to charge electric cars, but the Pflugerville Development Corp hopes the business park will house “green energy businesses”, retail shops, a hotel, and residences.
Currently there is no charge to use the electric car charging station, but unfortunately this won’t last forever. If you don’t have an electric car, now you have an excuse to get one. Go Green!!!
