Forest Oaks: Cedar Park, TX

Forest Oaks is one of Cedar Parks  most family friendly communities.   While driving through you cant help but find Forest Oaks a great place to live.  I was surprised to see just how pleasant the residents are and even your fellow drivers waved as you would pass by.   If the community isn’t convincing all to its own, people of Forest Oaks definitely are.

Driving through the Forest Oaks you can find a perfect 3 bedroom starter home, all the way to beautiful 5000 plus square foot custom built homes.   I stopped by some of the model homes to see the wide variety of floor plans and amenities the builders have to offer. and was amazed by the choices.  On a laz Sunday, you should make  pass by and see for yourself.

What I like most about Forest Oaks is that its convenient to most everything.  Within 5 minutes drive you will find a Wal-mart,  Super Target, multiple grocery stores, abundant retail shopping and so much more.   Within 8 minutes you will be on the shore of near by Lake Travis sunbathing with your toes in the sand.

Things that you will find in this community include:

- Parks

- A Junior Olympic Pool

- Sports Court

- Play Scapes

and so  much more…

Breakaway Office Park

Cedar Park commercial projects are ever expanding and Breakaway Office Park is just another example of its progress.   If you’re not familiar with breakaway Park, its where you will find Cedar Parks highest priced homes in a subdivision with its own Air Strip.

Like new Austin, Breakaway Office Park will focus on green components.  Each of the office condos are structurally insulated to focus on keeping energy cost down.  All of the buildings are pre-wired for solar power and where ever possible the builder chose environmentally friendly features.

With all of the features of the condos in addition to location, it surprising that these condos aare starting at just $185 per square foot.

Cedar Park Slip and Slide…

I couldn’t envision the rapid change and growth which has come and and still is coming to Williamson county.  Once again the good news comes to the Cedar Park area.  Although initial plans estimated a  summer 2008 opening, it looks like Cedar Park is moving forward to being home of its own water park.

Cedar Parks soon to be wettest and wildest attraction will sit on 20 acres, just east of hwy 1431 and Parmer.   The park will consist of water slides, lazy river and more.   With an overall nature theme, visitors will be able to stay in Tree houses designed to mesh with the outdoor theme.

What does this mean?   Cedar Park is on its way to having its own water park, more jobs, and another way to cool off in the Texas heat.   If all goes well, Im going to be a beach bum, well water park rat before I know it.
